The Trees and Design Action Group (www.tdag.org.uk) is partnering with a wide consortium (including the CIHT, ICE Scotland, LI Scotland, A+D Scotland, Forestry Commission Scotland, Glasgow City Council, Edinburgh City Council, Central Scotland Green Network…and others!) to organise two exciting conferences exploring opportunities and innovative delivery solutions for making the most of trees in town centres, streets, car parks and other hard landscapes in the Scottish context. The events will be held on 22 June 2015 in Glasgow (City Chambers, 12:10pm to 4:30pm) and on 23 June 2015 in Edinburgh (Heriot-Watt Campus, 9:00am to 5:30pm). Speakers include a rich mix of engineers, designers, planners, tree specialists, academics, developers – from the US, Sweden, France, Scotland and elsewhere! The latest innovations in green-grey-blue integrated solutions for infrastructure resilience, attracting investment and making places that work will be at the heart of discussions and displays!
