The Aberdeenshire Architectural and Landscape Design Awards

AALDA 2020 – Seeking Nominations for Landscape Award

The Aberdeenshire Architectural and Landscape Design Awards (AALDA) is a bi-annual award scheme, currently in its 12th year, which aims to promote the very best in design across Aberdeenshire. The scheme recognises the importance of landscape design not only as part of wider developments but also in its own right. They are eager to promote and expand this category to highlight and reward landscaping schemes, both big and small, across Aberdeenshire and recognise the important role landscaping plays in terms of our natural and built environment.

They are seeking landscape entries for the AALDA 2020 scheme, which demonstrate excellence in the design and formation of community open space, parks, gardens or other green infrastructure. The judges will be looking at how the scheme has contributed to the improvement of biodiversity and/or green infrastructure networks, either in isolation or as part of a wider development. All entries must have been completed within the past ten years.
