Four Parliamentary Committees to scrutinise national planning framework (SP 14/01/14)
The National Planning Framework, which sets the context for development planning across Scotland, will be scrutinised by four parliamentary committees. The third version of the Framework, which has been published today, will be the subject of scrutiny by the Local Government and Regeneration Committee. The Committee will take a strategic overview of the planning process and the Framework as a whole.
Proposed National Planning Framework 3(SG 14/01/14)The Proposed National Planning Framework 3 (NPF3) is the spatial interpretation of the Government Economic Strategy. The Proposed NPF3 sets out our ambition for Scotland to become: a successful, sustainable place; a low carbon place; a natural, resilient place; and a connected place. Fourteen national developments are proposed to help deliver the strategy.
Planning revamp (14/01/14)
A new national plan proposes 14 infrastructure developments across Scotland to deliver economic growth, Planning Minister Derek Mackay announced today. The proposed National Planning Framework (NPF3) sets out a sustainable vision of growth and development and includes two new national developments.
