Call for RHS Green Plan It Challenge Mentors
The RHS is on the lookout for people working in the horticulture industry across the central belt of Scotland to mentor small teams of secondary school students through their annual Green Plan It Challenge. Being a mentor is an opportunity to help young people learn about the world of plants and to challenge their perception of horticulture, while also being valuable to your own professional development.
Once matched with your team, you will have the chance to inspire and guide pupils through the ten week process and provide them with practical tips from your own experience. Once signed up, the RHS will provide training and guidance on the challenge itself, as well as carry out a PVG checks for you. Mentors are also matched with schools local to them.
