House and Grounds for an Art Collector – Design Competition 2016







As part of their contribution to the Festival of Architecture 2016 Landscape Institute Scotland are holding a competition for new house and grounds for an art collector in the Scottish countryside.

The competition is hypothetical and is based on an occupied site in Perthshire.

Entries will be invited from landscape architects and architects working in team in both chartered member and student categories.

Outline programme is:

Brief issue on the 31st of May with the competition going live on the 1st of June, competition period during summer, and submission in September.

Details of entry requirements, brief, judging panel, prizes, procedures , programme and conditions will be contained in the competition pack.

A public exhibition of the work will be held at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of

Glasgow in September and of the winners at the Dundas Street Gallery in Edinburgh in December.
