Are you a Landscape Architect working in the Public or Third Sector in Scotland?
The Landscape Institute Scotland encourages you to complete this survey to input proposals for the Landscape 2020 initiative.

Last year, LIS members participated in the Landscape Institute’s Summer Conversation to help shape the future of the profession in Scotland. The full report submitted by the LIS is available via the following link.
The Conversation concluded that further efforts were necessary to raise the profile and influence of the profession and better promote the range of work that is undertaken by Landscape Architects in Scotland.
As a result, the LIS are developing a Landscape 2020 initiative alongside key organisations within an interest in managing change in Scotland’s landscapes.
This survey of members working in the public and third sectors will help to direct the Landscape 2020 proposals: by highlighting the key sectoral issues and challenges, by seeking to celebrate good practice examples and by developing themes for future CPD events.
These sectors comprise just over 20% of LI membership in Scotland. Whether your work involves guiding new development through landscape planning, design of green space or urban regeneration proposals, appointment of external consultants or management of our landscape resource, the sectors make an important contribution to the delivery of national outcomes at the local level, which benefit our communities, economy and environment.
Thank you in advance for your time and feedback and please share the survey link with other Landscape Architects working in these sectors.
The survey will close on 17th January 2015.
